چکیده

Japanese cedar (JC, Cryptomeria japonica) pollen allergens are the primary cause of JC pollinosis, a widespread seasonal allergic disorder and significant public health issue in Japan. Nevertheless, rare information on repressing released from is available. This study aims to validate repression allergen Cry j 1 (the dominant that triggers pollinosis) using todomatsu oil produced Abies sachalinensis waste, through surface plasmon resonance (SPR) experiments, sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), blind docking simulation. The findings revealed reduces antibody reactivity content by 85.96% 42.12%, respectively. modeling suggested alkyl hydrophobic forces, pi–sigma bonding, hydrogen bonding principal motivating forces for components dock with 1. More than 50% amino-acid residues docked each component (except α-pinene) hydrophobic. Furthermore, components, especially β-maaliene, exhibited potent Consequently, oil, due its inexpensive, available, convenient, ecologically beneficial nature, viable measure repress

Glycoform analysis of Japanese cedar pollen allergen, Cry j 1.

In our previous study (Y. Kimura et al., Biosci. Biotechnol. Biochem., 69, 137-144 (2005)), we found that plant complex type N-glycans harboring Lewis a epitope are linked to the mountain cedar pollen allergen Jun a 1. Jun a 1 is a glycoprotein highly homologous with Japanese cedar pollen glycoallergen, Cry j 1. Although it has been found that some plant complex type N-glycans are linked to Cry...

Recombinant Fusion Allergens, Cry j 1 and Cry j 2 from Japanese Cedar Pollen, Conjugated with Polyethylene Glycol Potentiate the Attenuation of Cry j 1-Specific IgE Production in Cry j 1-Sensitized Mice and Japanese Cedar Pollen Allergen-Sensitized Monkeys.

BACKGROUND Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) pollinosis is the most prevalent seasonal rhinitis in Japan. A standardized Japanese cedar pollen extract (CPE) containing 1.5-4.2 μg of Cry j 1 is currently the highest-concentration extract available for allergen-specific immunotherapy (SIT) against this pollinosis. Therefore, we developed a PEGylated fusion protein as a more effective SIT vacc...

T cell epitopes in Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) pollen allergens: choice of major T cell epitopes in Cry j 1 and Cry j 2 toward design of the peptide-based immunotherapeutics for the management of Japanese cedar pollinosis.

Japanese cedar pollinosis is caused by exposure to Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) pollen, of which two components, Cry j 1 and Cry j 2, are believed to be the major allergens. T cell lines specific to either Cry j 1 or rCry j 2 were reactive to various portions of each panel of overlapping peptides derived from Cry j 1 or Cry j 2. Two peptides, p211-225 and p108-120, from among six major...

Field Investigation on Modification of Japanese Cedar Pollen Allergen in Urban Air-Polluted Area

Cry j 1 is a causative substance of Japanese cedar pollinosis, and it may deteriorate by Cry j 1 invasion to a lower respiratory tract. We observed airborne particles containing Cry j 1 by an immunofluorescence technique using a fluorescence microscope, and we clarified that Cry j 1 exist as aggregates of airborne fine particles (< 1.1 μm) in the urban atmosphere. Airborne Cry j 1 may react wit...
